TRIALLYLAMINE

TRIALLYLAMINE

TRIALLYLAMINE

Triallylamine is used as an intermediate for the manufacture of rubber chemicals, ion exchange resins, polymerization initiators, quaternary ammonium salts, cross-linking agents

Triallylamine is mainly applied in organic synthesis and resin modifier, also can be used in the crosslinking of high absorbent and the intermediates of ion exchange resin.
Triallylamine can be used in producing polyester activator and the evocating agent of butadiene polymerization.

TRIALLYLAMINE

Triallylamine is manufactured using allyl chloride and ammonia under heat and pressure.
Triallylamine is used as a solvent and in organic syntheses.

Synonyms: 2-Propen-1-amine, N,N-di-2-propen-1-yl-;AMINOTRI-2-PROPENE;(CH2=CHCH2)3N;n,n-di-2-propenyl-2-propen-1-amin;N,N-Diallyl-2-propen-1-amine;tertiaryamine;Tris(2-propenyl)amine;TRIALLYLAMINE: 97.5%

Triallylamine uses and applications:
unsaturated polyester resin comonomer
crosslinking comonomer
production of some rubbers
ion exchange resins
organic chemicals

Triallylamine is an intermediate to produce quaternary ammonium compounds.

Triallylamine is an organic material, the monomer of polymers, pharmaceutical intermediate and modified agent for resin

Triallylamine appears as a colorless liquid with a fishlike odor.
Density 0.800 g / cm3 and insoluble in water. Hence floats on water.
Flash point 103°F. Vapors heavier than air. May irritate skin and eyes. Used to make other chemicals.

Triallylamine is a strong reducing agent that reacts violently with oxidizing agents.
Triallylamine is corrosive towards Al and Zn.
Triallylamine neutralizes acids in exothermic reactions to form salts plus water.
Triallylamine may be incompatible with isocyanates, halogenated organics, peroxides, phenols (acidic), epoxides, anhydrides, and acid halides.
Flammable gaseous hydrogen may be generated in combination with strong reducing agents, such as hydrides.
