PLIOLITE AC80

PLIOLITE AC80

CAS number: 81406-93-1

Pliolite AC80, often used in combination with Pliolite AC4 or Pliolite AC5G, forms though abrasion and chemically resistant films that have excellent adhesion, UV resistance and exterior weathering properties.
Pliolite AC80 is used for exterior masonry coatings, anticarbonation, metal protective and intumescent coatings.

Pliolite AC80 is a newtonian styrene acrylate copolymer, often used in combination with AC4 or AC5G.
Pliolite AC80 forms tough abrasion, chemically resistant films that have excellent adhesion, UV resistance and weathering properties.
Typical applications of Pliolite AC80 include: “all weather” masonry coatings, anticarbonation, metal protective, intumescent coatings.

Pliolite AC80 is newtonian styrene-acrylate copolymer.
Pliolite AC80 offers tough, durable, abrasion and chemically resistant films that have excellent adhesion, UV resistance and exterior weathering properties.
Pliolite AC80 provides barrier properties against water and carbon dioxide.
Pliolite AC80 possesses excellent mechanical stability, alkali and water resistance.

Pliolite AC80 is compatible with modifying resins and plasticizers like hydrocarbons, styrene derivatives, rosins, silicones, vegetable oils, esters, chlorinated paraffin, urea derivatives and aromatic oils.
Pliolite AC80 is suitable in masonry-, metal-, roof-, intumescent coatings, architectural-, metal- and industrial steel primers.
Pliolite AC80 is also used in concrete protection-, anti-corrosion- and exterior paints.
Pliolite AC80 has a shelf life of 36 months.

These Pliolite AC 80 Resin has the best U.V. light resistance of all PLIOLITE resins and has the following properties : excellent adhesion, chemical resistance, barrier properties against water and CO2 and superb exterior weathering.

Combinations of PLIOLITE AC80 with PLIOLITE AC4 or AC5G are ideally suited for:
-Clear and pigmented surface conditioners.
-Flat and textured masonry paints.
-Anticarbonation coatings for concrete protection.
-Flat and high build waterproofing sealers.

Metal Protective Paints : PLIOLITE AC80 in combination with PLIOLITE AC4 brings unique properties to the metal protection sector.
Application of a defect-free, high-thickness coat of 200 I m or more is possible.
Thick films of PLIOLITE AC80 and AC4 give regular, homogeneous coverage of the whole surface including angles and surface irregularities, therefore adding to cost savings.

The balance selection of monomers in PLIOLITE AC80 and AC4 brings optimum chemical and aging resistance for long terms protection for:
-Galvanized steel paints
-Structural steel paints
-Railway wagon and container paints.
