Solubility

Application
Biocidal emulsifiable concentrates are intended to form stable emulsions when mixed with water. 

It is common practice to use mixed emulsifiers in their manufacture. 
A mixed emulsifier has an anionic and a nonionic component, and the latter in turn may consist of several, chemically different constituents. 
Phenylsulfonat CA has proved suitable as an anionic component. The following products can be used as nonionic components:

Genapol O, M, PF grades
Emulsogen EL 360
Sapogenat T grades

The amount of emulsifier used depends on the degree of stability required; it is usually 3-15 % relative to the concentrate
